SchedRequest Privacy Policy
Effective date: May 15, 2026
SchedRequest is a request-first scheduling product developed by Startup Ignition. This policy explains how SchedRequest handles personal information and Google Calendar data when organizations use the service.
Information we collect
We collect account, organization, membership, request, scheduling, and contact information that users provide. This can include names, email addresses, organization names, roles, meeting requests, proposed times, preferred meeting methods, guest emails, and administrative settings.
Google Calendar data
When a member connects Google Calendar, SchedRequest requests access to read calendar availability and create calendar events after an authorized organization user confirms a request. We use Google Calendar data to show availability, prevent scheduling conflicts, and create confirmed meeting events.
SchedRequest does not show private Google Calendar event details to public requesters. Public requesters see requester-safe availability only. Internal authorized organization users may see operational scheduling context necessary to process requests.
How we use information
- Operate request-first scheduling workflows.
- Route meeting requests to the correct organization members.
- Compare proposed times against connected calendar availability.
- Create confirmed calendar events and related notifications.
- Provide account, organization, security, support, and audit functionality.
Storage and sharing
We store information needed to provide the service, including calendar connection metadata and OAuth tokens required to maintain a member’s calendar connection. We do not sell Google user data or personal information. We share information only with service providers needed to operate SchedRequest, as required by law, or as directed by the organization using the service.
Google API Limited Use
SchedRequest’s use and transfer of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
Security
We use access controls, server-side token storage, and least-privilege practices designed to protect connected calendar data. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect data from unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction.
Your choices
Members can disconnect Google Calendar access by revoking SchedRequest in their Google Account permissions or by contacting their organization administrator. Organizations can request deletion or export of their data by contacting us.
